Moccasins are designed two common ways: soft sole and hard sole. Hard soled moccasins are made of at least two pieces of leather sewn together yet soft soled shoes are made of one single piece of leather wrapped around the foot, then the edges are sewn where they meet. They generally just cover around the foot like a pair of loafers or small slippers.
Men most commonly wear soft-soled moccasins since they are more basic and appealing to their tastes compared to women who like boots and patterns. These moccasins look perfect with khaki pants, jeans, shorts, and most items in a gentleman’s closet. Some do not have any Native American beading on them or just some beads for color. Soft-soled moccasins are great for children’s little feet for a stylish baby and supreme comfort as they run all over the park. They have cute designs of birds and other nature images that Native Americans commonly created with the colors of their respective tribes. They are made from deer or moose hides and lined inside with sheepskin for soft landings and warm toes.
Soft soled moccasins still give you the same strong quality to last through the years as the hard soled moccasins, they simply are shoes instead of boots so you will still keep warm and wear them as often as you’d like. Women may like the soft-soled moccasins for the dainty look and less bulk boots for dresses, skirts, and nicer attire. They come in many colors so white soft-soled moccasins look nice with suits as a business shoe for work, church, or an evening out. For a casual look with flair, soft-soled moccasins in your favorite color with colorful beadwork are the hip accessory to jeans and your favorite blouse and will surely turn heads wherever you walk.
